Our Diving

Our diving season is kicked off with a trip to Brixham at Easter, here divers normally undertake their first open water dives.
Most of the club's diving is carried out along the South Coast, exploring the many wrecks that are only a few miles off shore. The Club has two RIB's, which for the last seven years have been kept at Newhaven during the Summer months, making life easier for our divers, no more "Whose going to tow the boat!!"  Hardboat dives are also organised on a regular basis, for those who wish to travel further a field, and our Club has several members who own there own boats.
The Club organises weekend trips throughout the UK diving season. Favourite locations include the South Coast; Wales; Devon; Cornwall; Dorset. On these trips there is often the opportunity for non-diving partners to also come along. The diving is either conducted from the Clubs RIB's boats or from chartered boats. We will normally stay in B&B accomodation or on a holiday park.
Club members also organise several longer diving holidays. In the UK favoured locations are Scapa Flow, Ireland, Cornwall and the Pembrokeshire coast. There is usually several Club trips each year to warmer waters and in recent years these have included The Red Sea, Spain, Cyprus, Cuba, Malta and The Maldives.

We have also dived in some not so nice places, Keston Fish Ponds on Boxing Day highlights this, BUT it was for CHARITY and we raised LOTS of CASH, so it was worth it.
